We met Caio as he was beginning another project next door, where neighbors spoke highly of his previous interior work making cabinets -- good quality, inexpensive, reliable. Earlier estimates to replace our deck had scared us, with what seemed like an exceedingly high range. Caio came right over, gave us an estimate for the same materials, that was more reasonable for the kind of deck we wanted. And, when I asked Caio how soon his men could begin, he said, "Right away, next week."

Dear Caio:

We are extremely pleased with the basement remodel you just completed. You and your crew exceeded all expectations that we had.

We appreciated how easy everyone was to work with and how professionally the work was done. Every detail was done meticulously. The guys were extremely nice, thoughtful and very patient. They went the extra steps to ensure during the work process that the dust was kept from spreading throughout the house and the best part was how clean everything was when they left each day. Just unbelievable!

The new windows are amazing. They look like they have always been there and add so much more light to the room. It doesn't look like a basement anymore....it is a beautiful family room! Everyone that has seen the room is in shock. Complete transformation! Melissa's grandfather came over the other night to see it. He was so excited that he kept speaking in Italian because he couldn't remember the words in English. It was too funny.

You all did such a fantastic job turning an ugly basement into such a beautiful family room that now we have to finish the bathroom to complete it!!! We are looking forward to seeing the bathroom finished.

I have known Caio Ferraz for more than ten years and have watched him grow both his business and personal life in that time. In early 2000 I hired Caio, then just a small painting company, to do some demolition and painting work at our project in West Newton, Ma.

While the beginning of the project looked to be daunting and seemingly unending, Caio's enthusiasm and diligence served to jump start what otherwise would have been a Herculean task.. In those days he was on site whenever his crew was, instructing, cajoling, and offering whatever hand he could. It was clear to me, even then, that he was a born leader and was respected for both his character and work ethic.
